- Changes and directs patient behavior and assists in therapeutic rehabilitation programs as a member of the treatment team;
Prepare forms for patient activity such as pass request, clearance slip, interdisciplinary treatment team meeting, or discharge paperwork; Monitors patients and records patient data related to health, behavior, efficacy, etc .; Observes and instructs patients on violations of rules, regulations, policies, and procedures;Refers to the nurse in charge of all medical and psychological problems and emergencies or physical conflicts and incidents of alcohol/drug addiction; Adheres to privacy rules and protects patient privacy as defined by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) Regulations and Standards;
- Conducts bed checks and follows patients who report missing bed checks;
- Conducts searches of buildings and residential areas for missing patients if necessary;
- Inhalation of patients returning from approved or unauthorized absences and patients suspected of being intoxicated;
- Conducts walk-through rounds of patient accommodation to address patient issues related to safety, health and hygiene;
- Conducts searches of patient lockers, belongings and furniture when there is reason to believe that a patient has hidden potentially harmful material or items, including weapons, alcohol and/or illicit drugs; And, Performs all other responsibilities as prescribed.
Note: The person in this position must be able to pass the Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Qualifications

One year of full-time academic study is defined as 30 semester hours, 45 quarter hours or equivalent in a college or university, or at least 20 hours per week of instruction in business, secretariat, or technical field for about 36 weeks. Combination:
